People who are cared for at home and only receive care allowance are obliged to take advantage of regular counseling sessions from care level 2 onwards. However, for care level 1 and for people who only receive benefits in kind from care level 2 onwards, counseling is voluntary.

We will inform you about how the consultation takes place in accordance with Section 37.3 SGB XI, what the difference is to the care consultation in accordance with Section 7a SGB XI, how often you are obliged to attend consultations and how you can benefit from them. You will also find out under what conditions you can use the consultation via video conference.
